I certainly had a fun activity filled weekend with my kids – that quality time that seems to elude so many.
We tried out a ‘Woelwater aktiwiteitsboks’ that has convenient age appropriate activities for babies from 5 months to 6 years old, enough to last you a whole month. My kids are a tad older but had tons of fun nevertheless.
So what was inside:
Loads of supplies to create hours of fun with a booklet describing each activity.
Every month’s box is focused around a specific theme, and every week of the month has 4 activities to do with your child.
A fine motor activity, a gross motor activity, music activity with song or rhyme, an art activity and a messy play activity for a sensory experience for your child.

Making dung beetle balls with the little larvae inside (don’t worry, just a little stone). This was also a learning opportunity without them knowing it.
This is a great box to subscribe to if you have small kids. The developmental exercises that are disguised as play is very important activities to developing kids, I certainly wish I knew about this earlier as one of my little darlings struggle with motor skills and sensory issues. This would have been perfect for him when he was smaller.
